Reza Kahlili served in CIA Directorate of Operations, as a spy in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, counterterrorism expert; currently teaches at the U.S. Department of Defense and serves on the newly formed Task Force on National and Homeland Security, an advisory board authorized by Congress.

He is the author of the award winning book “A Time to Betray” (www.atimetobetray.com) and regularly appears in national and international media as an expert on Iran and counterterrorism in the Middle East.
Along with former CIA Director James Woolsey and former U.N. Ambassador Alan Keyes, Kahlili was invited by the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. to discuss Iran.

“A Time to Betray” was named the book of the month by Magazine of The Marines / Leatherneck in January of 2011.

“A Time to Betray” is part of JCITA’s (Joint Counterintelligence Training Academy of DOD) and CI CENTRE (The Leader in Counterintelligence) Iranian Program’s readings.
